San Pedro Sula, Honduras Support Trip

So not ever blogging about supporting others as was the main intent of the blog here are some pics of a recent trip I had the opportunity to participate in with my company. We went to 3 orphanages and a detention center.


I cannot stress the conditions and environment these children have to live in but am truly blessed to have been able to meet all of them. I literally had to find a room to hide into because I was physically tired of lifting all these kids over my head. I guess it doesn't matter where you are, kids like the helicopter ride.



I was also able to give away several of my wife's Beanie Babies to children at the Nueva Esperanza Center...



If you ever get the chance to go on a orphan/mission trip I highly recommend it. This particular trip was sponsored by my small company in conjunction with Orphan Helpers ( link on the top left of the blog).



We also got to set up a computer lab at the Mujeres Adolescentes center for the girls to use and learn on. No running water or air conditioning but we were able to get a 20 amp circuit for the 7 systems.



This was an awesome opportunity and I am truly grateful to have been given the opportunity. Although supporting children through other programs and monthly pledges is great, I now have 6 kids sponsored, this is truly an awesome experience. We are going back in a few months.

Earnings Week Update

Yes, I have been silent for a while, I have not only been very busy quickly becoming an options expert, but recently got back from Honduras and South Carolina as well.  So what has happened lately.  Obviously a bear market. I got out at the beginning of the bear at 82.50, then back in at 69.95.  I also bought 20 contracts of MA 340 August Calls and sold some Visa 65 August Puts.  Visa reports on the 30 and Mastercard reports on the 31^st.  MA has already guided strong and of course Visa is quiet… The plan is to ride up to and over earnings then get out as the banks and individual investors begin to take profits.  The Olympic revenue will be part of  next quarter and will be watching closely to play the swing trade.  I am currently looking for some solid monthly income plays selling calls and puts.

 

If I have time I’ll try to get back to updating the blog a little more regularly… Until then happy trading…
