NFLX Still Blowing Up

Is it time to short NFLX with some PUT buying.  Not down to zero but perhaps the 100s again.  The 3rd Qtr wasn't stellar and the buzz was really about subscriber growth.  While always a NFLX bull, we've seen this before.

Just a though, haven't traded it this way yet.

If we held through Friday would have been another 300-400% return.  Oh well, you don't go broke taking a profit

Our Friday trade is going to net us almost 400% return tomorrow morning!  Sell limit set in low 20's after an entry of mid 6's

TWTR Dec 20s have high open interest.  It is currently coiling under 17.  May be a gamble but it's a .78 gamble

STX and GPRO

So both of these trades have done fantastic.  STX is back well above our initial buy-point and the dividend is still solid.

GOPRO has received great reviews on the Hero 5 and the new Drone which sent the stock up with good follow-through on volume.

We are now looking into Dry-good Shipping Companies, speculative at 52-week lows, but holding steady and still paying dividends.  DHT and TNK at the moment

Drone Racing and GPRO

I picked up a Phantom 2 drone really cheap a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked.  Wathcing Droned on the Science Channel we first started learning about First Person View (FPV) Drones.  This is going to be the next big thing and a lot of tech is going to make it happen and extend into how we view sporting events.  I like GPRO with the options volatility.   Buying a bunch of the equity and selling calls for income.  This has the potential to pop so i'd buy both the equity and LEAP calls at the money.

FEYE Jan 2017 Options

Fire Eye has gotten hit hard but isn't likely to go under anytime soon.  after a brief touch in the 12's it is rebounding as new leadership and acquisitions are taking place.

My place is in the at the money (15 strike price) to the 25 strike range.  Whatever you feel comfortable with.  Within that range the 20 (having over 6000 open interest), 23 & 25s have the most open interest.  Buy to open any of those and while there is always risk, hackers aren't quitting and having the point solutions with the intelligence (latest acquisition of ISight Partners) sets FEYE up for a win.

STX got pummeled today after guidance indicated lower revenue. This just after a good report on how the dividend is stable given corporate conditions. Looking for a long-term holding with good dividend today is the day.
