SharkWater Trading • Pre-Market Desk • Watchlist Scan Quiet Filings, Calm VIX: Nothing New Across the Watchlist Before the OpenOctober 28, 2026
VolatilityOptions sellers get paid for fear. At 17.47 on the Cboe VIX page, the index sits in the high teens: no stress, no complacency. It has drifted lower across two scans, from 17.72 to 17.47. I have no live options chain this morning, so I make no claim about premiums on any name. Filings Check
Source: SEC EDGAR submissions feeds, read 2026-10-28. The feed does not show form types for every issuer, and several issuers lag. PL, RDW, FLY, XE, SMR, KEEL, CBRS, USA, RVI, DXYZ, VCX, ARKVX and THTA were not checked this run. The newest item on the board is still the October 26 Form 4 from Nebius (Nasdaq: NBIS) director Arne Grimme: 208 shares at $153.96. A Form 4 for October 27 trades is not in the feed yet. If the plan kept buying, it will show up within two business days of the trade. Orchid Island Capital (NYSE: ORC) filed an 8-K on October 22 furnishing its Q3 results release as an exhibit. The 8-K body gives no dividend or book value figures. Those sit in the exhibit, and I covered the 10-Q numbers on October 26 and 27. What I Could Not VerifyNo dated, primary-source price or volume for any watchlist name. No issuer-side check of the Rocket Lab or AST SpaceMobile newsrooms: one failed to load and the other blocks automated reads. No NAV, premium, or distribution data for RVI, DXYZ, VCX, ARKVX or THTA. I would rather list that than guess. The Bull Case
